These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and legal services provided by Court Marriage in Nepal Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our Services

Court Marriage in Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a registered law firm providing legal services including court marriage registration, foreign marriage registration, divorce proceedings, adoption, company registration, and other legal matters under the laws of Nepal.

Our services are subject to the legal framework of Nepal, including the Civil Code 2017, and applicable regulations governing marriage registration and legal practice.

Eligibility

To use our court marriage registration services, both parties must meet the legal requirements under Nepal's Civil Code 2017:

Minimum age of 20 years for both parties. Mental capacity to consent to marriage. Not currently married (or legally divorced/widowed). Not within prohibited degrees of relationship. For foreign nationals: valid passport and compliance with 15-day residence requirement.

By engaging our services, you confirm that you meet all legal eligibility requirements.

Client Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documents. Inform us of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your case. Respond promptly to our requests for information or documents. Attend scheduled appointments at government offices when required. Pay all applicable fees as agreed.

We are not responsible for delays or complications arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent information provided by clients.

Fees and Payment

Service Fees

Our professional fees are quoted separately from government fees. Fee structure will be communicated clearly before engagement. Full payment terms will be outlined in the service agreement.

Government Fees

Government processing fees (currently NRS 500 for marriage registration) are paid directly by clients to official government accounts. We do not collect government fees on your behalf.

Additional Costs

Any additional costs such as document attestation, translation, travel, or accommodation are the client's responsibility unless explicitly included in our service package.

Processing Time

Standard processing times are estimates and may vary based on government office workload, document verification requirements, and other factors beyond our control.

Nepali Citizens: Typically 2-7 working days.

Foreign Nationals: Typically 18-30 working days (including 15-day residence requirement).

We do not guarantee specific completion dates. Delays caused by government authorities, incomplete documentation, or external factors are not our responsibility.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Before Service Commencement: If you cancel before we begin work on your case, you may be eligible for a refund minus administrative charges.

After Service Commencement: Once document preparation or government filing has begun, fees for completed work are non-refundable.

Government Fees: Government fees paid to official accounts are non-refundable.

Case Rejection: If your application is rejected due to ineligibility or false information provided by you, no refund will be issued.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Each case will be reviewed individually.

Confidentiality

All information shared with us is treated as strictly confidential under attorney-client privilege. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or complications caused by government authorities, third parties, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not guarantee any specific outcome for legal matters as decisions rest with government authorities and courts.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Court Marriage in Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Website Use

You agree not to:

Use our website for any unlawful purpose. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems. Transmit malicious code or interfere with website functionality. Scrape, copy, or reproduce website content without permission. Submit false inquiries or spam through our contact forms.
